Upper and Lower Case

While searching the capitalisation of words does not matter. There is no difference between the following search terms:

e-mail
E-Mail
E-mAiL

Combination of Multiple Search Terms

If your search expression contains several words separated by spaces, these words will be combined with AND, i.e. only those pages are found, that contain all given terms. It is unnecessary but possible to explicitly write the keyword AND between your search terms:

e-mail server
e-mail AND server

If you are looking for results that contain some (at least one) of the given search terms, you can use the keyword OR:

e-mail OR email

By using the keyword NOT you can define terms that should be excluded from your search.

e-mail NOT server

With the help of brackets ( ) you can group search terms. Please separate the brackets from the search terms by white space:

( ( e-mail OR email ) AND client ) NOT server

Search by Phrases

To search for phrases (search terms that contain white space) enclose the search term in quotation marks " ":

"e-mail programm"
